Cal
Heidi has been caring for our four-year-old rescue, Cal, since the Spring of 2017 after he had double femoral head osteotomies. Through massage and stretch, Heidi has helped Cal gain much needed muscle strength in his back legs. Right away we saw a noticeable difference in the way Cal walked; he began to walk on all fours rather than picking up one leg at a time! Cal loves when Heidi comes to visit him for his massage as she has built a genuine, trusting relationship with him. We couldn’t be more thankful for Heidi’s professionalism, knowledge, and love for her canine… Read more “Cal”
Ellie
Our dog Ellie is 15 and has been getting massages with Heidi for over a year to help keep her loose and mobile in her golden years. We feel so grateful to have found Heidi. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable about anatomy and what treatments are best for particular issues, cares about the animals she treats and really connects with them. Even our cats, who would normally want nothing to do with massage, want in on the action. Heidi’s treatments are absolutely effective, as our 15 year old who was getting arthritic in her back hips, walks an hour at a time on a regular basis, showing no signs of discomfort and often gets mistaken for a young pup. What I love the most about providing Heidi’s treatments to Ellie is how excited Ellie gets when Heidi comes to the door. She has a different bark she uses for people she likes the most and then she quickly takes her position on the living room floor. It warms my heart to know she enjoys these sessions with Heidi. They make her feel special and more mobile than the typical 15 year old! I highly recommend Heidi for therapeutic animal… Read more “Ellie”
Logan
The reason I first contacted Heidi was my boy Logan started having muscle spasms around his lower back. He receives routine chiropractic care as well but I was looking for something to add in to his care routine. Heidi’s first visit was great! Logan was able to relax in his own home on his bed while she gave him a wonderful massage. Logan really felt great after his first massage and Heidi sent amazing follow up notes that discussed his trouble spots and what she observed and worked on. After Logan’s massages I really saw a difference in his overall condition. Additionally his chiropractor noted that at his routine visits he was not as out of alignment as he usually was. I have been so happy with adding in massage as part of Logan’s care routine and Heidi really does an amazing job working with… Read more “Logan”
Daisy
Heidi has been providing massage therapy for my tripawd German shepherd mix Daisy since March. Heidi is excellent and I cannot recommend her enough. I like Heidi’s straightforward and realistic approach. She started out by explaining that dogs need time to learn what massage is all about and to relax with the touch. I had tried canine massage for Daisy once before–I assumed that she would love it and have a spa-like experience but instead she was freaked out and I came away concluding that massage was not for her. I decided to give canine massage another try after Daisy completed a physical rehab program. It took a couple of sessions before Daisy “got” it. Heidi comes to our house for Daisy’s massages–that’s not only convenient for me but also makes Daisy more comfortable. What I really appreciate about Heidi is that she meets Daisy where she’s at–both literally and figuratively. Heidi is not reticent to sit on the floor and crawl around as Daisy changes spots. As a tripawd, Daisy has some tight spots and it’s not always comfortable for her to receive massage. Heidi does an excellent job challenging Daisy to learn to relax with more challenging spots while also recognizing her limits. Daisy likes people and usually wags her tail at visitors. However, when Heidi comes to visit, she’s so happy, her whole body is… Read more “Daisy”
Buddy
Buddy is a 13-year-old Golden Retriever who thinks he’s still a young pup. His arthritis and previous joint issues say otherwise. Massage therapy with Heidi helps keep him active, moving, and comfortable. Since becoming a client in response to a leg injury, we now consider Heidi an integral part of Buddy’s overall care team. Of the various approaches we’ve tried, massage therapy has been the most successful in helping our old… Read more “Buddy”

Brinks
Brinks is a hard-working service dog. During massage, he enjoys the therapeutic benefits as well as some “me” time to recharge. After a good rub down with Heidi, he’s ready at a drop of a hat when he’s *kneaded*!… Read more “Brinks”
Maisy Pancakes
MP lives for walks, but her arthritis is making it more difficult these days. Heidi’s massages help MP feel invigorated and much loved after a hard week of being a senior! While we typically focus on her “bad” leg at physical therapy, Heidi often works on the “good” muscles that are doing the extra hard work, all the… Read more “Maisy Pancakes”
